DDM - flip lenticular print on illuminated coffer / 2021
The design consists of two graphics - it is an arrangement of #words that intertwine. Through the graphic composition of the text, additional words are highlighted.
Flip lenticular printing abruptly turns one image into the other. The motifs are visible alternately depending on the viewing angle in the left-right/right-left directions. The viewer, in order to fully recognise the work, must make the transition once from left to right and vice versa. Standing in the middle will result in an illegible layout of the text.
#affection > #distance
#credence > #disinfection
#liberty > #mask
The liberature principle applied reveals to us the words: free_dance. The semantics of the project relate
to the time of pandemics, as well as social unrest, fears for our lives and our personal freedom. The second layer of the words free_dance is a symbolic marker of the unknown, where there are no rules and no rules apply, we don't know the next move of the 'dancer', we don't know what we will face....
